About Code4Technologies

Code4pc, LLC was started in November of 2005 by Dan Ault & Jon Khachaturian.  Dan was a former High Tech Crimes Investigator.  Dan saw the need for creating an I.T. Company that provided trusted, reliable, and affordable products and services to consumers and business clientele.  Developing an affordable off site remote back up solution for clients, Dan hit the local market by storm, providing an affordable and reliable storage solution of critical data for his clients.   Dan also reached out to friend Dennis Happ to lead his Web Development division.  Dennis’ exceptional customer service and design skills along with extensive training and experience helped create a unique approach to web development.  Combining Dan’s marketing abilities with Dennis’ design and programming skills helped build the first SEO / Web development company in Central Illinois.  Focusing on driving traffic to the web site first and then visually capturing the attention of web surfers was the adopted philosophy of Code4pc’s web development division and one that set them apart in the state as a highly talented company.

Being on the front lines of the ever changing I.T. world Dan and his team identified the up and coming Apple Macintosh market as the new wave of consumer and educational based products.  Becoming an Apple Authorized reseller in the Spring of 2007 and then an Apple Service Provider in the summer of 2008 gave Code4pc an edge that no other I.T. Company in the area possessed.

In the fall of 2008 the changing economy brought a new challenge to Code4pc.  Dan was introduced to Champaign based I.T. firm, Area-Wide Technologies,INC.  CEO Jeff Facer, President Jason Facer and V.P of Operations Cory Douglas formed the team that made the area's networking giant.  Jeff’s company the only Microsoft Certified Gold Partner in the area and Code4pc’s Apple Service Provider status made for a perfect match.  The two companies decided to merge and then quickly as the partnership grew Code4pc, LLC assets were sold to Facer in which the birth of the new Code 4 Technologies emerged, combining the best of both worlds.

Today Code 4 Technologies provides retail sales, repair services, web development , remote back up, and I.T. consulting to Central Illinois and is proud to be a leader in Information technology solutions to Champaign-Urbana, the home of super-computing.
